Hehe, don't worry so much. It's a good training, and she'll eventually understand how to be more careful. You live in the UK and trust me, there's much less urban traffic there than here, and many more zones where to cycle or walk safely without worries. If nothing happened to me in Rome in about three years of cycling, nothing's going to happen to her either.

I bought her a set of rechargeable lights to make her rides safer, but she just keeps on forgetting those.
